Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a key member of our Inpatient Unit, you will be responsible for managing patient care and utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care and coordinate with other healthcare personnel to ensure high-quality care.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and care coordination.
• Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing education program and current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in NYS.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Professional Nurse preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work outside normal working hours as needed to meet patient care demands.
  • Training and competency in caring for patients with special needs and behaviors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
