Title: Warehouse/Shipping Clerk

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a current Warehouse/Shipping Clerk job in Scotia, NY for a temporary to hire job opportunity. InvShipping Clerk positions require receiving incoming material and shipping outgoing products or supplies. Candidates will be responsible for counting items received or shipped and checking against packing lists while recording any discrepancies. Responsibilities for this Warehouse/Shipping Clerk job include:

¿ Overseeing the duties assigned to the inventory department

¿ Verifying stock information and unit identification numbers

¿ Ensuring material put-away and accurate selection of product

¿ Auditing equipment and parts

¿ Performing detailed cycle counts

¿ Creating inventory reports for our customer and communicating department activities to the inventory manager

¿ Training and assisting employees in department procedures and performance

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

¿ 2+ years experience as a Supervisor in an inventory environment

¿ Ability to prioritize work flow

¿ Strong leadership skills

¿ Excellent organizational and analytical skills

¿ Strong PC skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and Access (Oracle experience a plus)

¿ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

¿ Ability to motivate others

¿ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

¿ Flexibility in schedule

We have openings on 3rd shift (Tuesday through Friday 12:00am to 7:00am and Saturay 12:00am to 12:00pm).

Pay for this position is $14.00ph plus overtime as needed. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity.
