Job DetailsThis role is responsible for overseeing the Meat
Department in a fast-paced retail environment.Key
Responsibilities
- Supervision and Team Management: Direct and delegate tasks to
Meat Team Members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality
customer service.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with the Team Trainer to
train and develop Meat Team Members, focusing on building a
high-performance team and minimizing turnover.
- Customer Service: Resolve difficult customer situations,
respond promptly to customer needs and questions, and maintain a
positive customer experience.
- Logistics and Operations: Ensure all necessary breaks are
given, complete temp, sweep, and sanitation logs, and maintain
awareness of customer flows and needs.
- Performance Management: Provide timely, thorough, and
thoughtful performance evaluations and consistently communicate and
model WFM vision and goals.
- Team Building and Motivation: Foster a positive environment of
outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale, and
communicate and maintain Team Member safety and security
standards.Requirements
- Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication skills
and willingness to lead and develop others.
- Knowledge and Skills: Extensive knowledge of Meat team
procedures and policies, Meat products, and regulatory and safety
policies and procedures.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficient mathematical skills for
assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and
managing inventory.
- Decision-Making and Leadership: Demonstrated decision-making
ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and
delegate.
