Department Summary:The Cambridge Health Alliance Nursing Team
provides care with an emphasis on culturally sensitive and evidence
based nursing practice. The ICU at the Cambridge Hospital is
seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse. In this particular
unit the Registered Nurse will be responsible for, but not limited
to, managing critically ill patients on mechanical ventilation,
telemetry monitoring, invasive monitoring, and multiple continuous
IV medications. Must be able to respond calmly and accurately in
high stress situations.
Job Purpose:The Patient Access Representative II (PAR II) position
consists of both administrative/clerical functions in addition to
the clinical responsibilities of the medical assistant/CNA. PAR IIs
are essential members of the team. They provide the department the
flexibility of meeting both clinical and administrative needs,
while contributing to the smooth operation by facilitating patient
flow.
Qualifications:High School DiplomaAHA or ARC BLS Healthcare
ProviderOne year of previous experience as a nursing assistantOR
Currently enrolled in a nursing program and have completed two
cycles of clinical rotationOR Completion of an approved certified
nursing assistant training programOR equivalent experience as
determined by the CNO or designee - -
