• Employment Type: TravelJob Title: MRI Technologist Location: Catskill, NY Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) No Weekends, No Holidays, No On-Call Duration: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Requirements: --- ARRT (MRI) certification required. --- Radiologic Technician certification required. --- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. --- Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI experience in an outpatient or clinical setting. --- Familiarity with Meditech charting system is a plus. Key Responsibilities: --- Perform MRI scans and ensure high-quality imaging for patient diagnosis and treatment. --- Position patients properly and provide instructions for MRI procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. --- Operate MRI equipment, including Hitachi View and Philips Brilliance systems. --- Maintain patient records and ensure charting is done accurately in the Meditech system. --- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure and ensure patient safety. --- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results. --- Ensure MRI equipment is functioning properly and perform routine maintenance checks. --- Provide exceptional patient care, addressing concerns and explaining procedures. --- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.vTech Healthcare Job ID #29545.
