Job Description:

As a Central Maintenance Planner, you will be accountable for all outsourced third-party breakdown repair orders daily. You will coordinate response to all breakdown events in accordance with vendor availability and capability to minimize maintenance delays and maximize asset availability.

  Responsibilities
  
  
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Receive all incoming Fleet Maintenance related calls, including driver breakdowns;
  • Coordinate response to vehicle breakdowns by utilizing our nationwide network of preferred service providers;
  • Manage all third-party repair orders for our National Account Breakdown Service providers;
  • Review all quotes received while on shift and identify areas where repair cost can be reduced/ eliminated;
  • Identify rework scenarios where repairs should be denied and or be covered under warranty;
  • Identify repairs that should be covered under OEM or aftermarket parts suppliers' warranty;
  • Coordinate with third party vendors to collect quotes, invoices and preventative maintenance forms;
  • Create purchase orders for third-party breakdown repairs.
    
    Qualifications
    
    
    • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    • 1+ years of transportation coordination experience required;
    • 1+ year of Customer Service experience required;
    • Call center experience preferred;
    • Ability to create actionable items out of data and information;
    • Strategic planning, coupled with tactical execution;
    • Proficient in MS Office Applications - MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS project
