Job Description:
A company is looking for a Physician Senior Coder in Behavior
Health.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze medical records to accurately code diagnostic and
procedural information according to national guidelines
Provide quality assurance for medical records and ensure compliance
with coding regulations
Mentor less experienced staff and assist in onboarding new
coders
Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent specialized training in
medical record keeping
Active certification as CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT
At least five years of specialized professional coding
experience
Strong knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles
Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
